Salute! My role in the world is that I am a Deaf, eclectic Wiccan, Priest of the Circle of Amber Heart, Licenced in Maryland, in regards to religion. I work towards interfaith tolorance and reduction of intolorance towards other religions, and reduction of stereotypes/depictions that do more harm than good. My knoweldgebase centers around Norse/Welsh traditions, actively trying to learn Norwegian and German (Took Latin but so rusty, even Rome wouldnt be able to find me in the rubble). I also spend my time as a Poet, musician, playng both the Mandolin and the Guitar, and enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction, sci-fiction, and social issues. My background is Sociology with Psychology, and eventually getting my Teacher's certification in Elementary Education, and then Deaf Education. Presently I work in the public school system as a Educational Interpreter. Long-term goals, become fluent in Norse, Norwegian, and to publish a book of poetry, and help along the process of getting Pagan concepts and vernacular accepted/introduced into ASL's own vocabulary, and from the Pagan perspective and concept, not someone else's. I also want to learn as hobby wood carving, and making tea-light fixtures out of things from nature, like rocks, shells, etc. Favorite Authors: Robert Heinlein, Richard Bach, Galina Krasskova, Laura Patsouris, Jane Sibley, Raven Kaldera, John Christian Heuer, too many to count! lol Lastly... get to see Norway again, travel the US in my RV, and love life!
